Last June I presented on Gunther Schuller’s organ music at the National Convention of the American Guild of Organists held in Boston. A new (and much appreciated) feature of this convention was the opportunity for organists around the country to present their scholarly work. Schuller’s support and encouragement of my work has been one of the great joys of my professional life thus far.
The handout attached here will give some idea about some of the things I talked about. My upcoming dissertation will expand on all of this.
